My name is Adam. My blog focuses primarily on my reading journey (book reviews), but I’m also an aspiring poet & novelist, as well as an English professor. Currently, I have five major publications to my name, as well as numerous online contributions to such venues as Thought Co and Literary Ladies Guide.
I consider myself an essayist and reviewer who is trained in literary criticism and analysis; however, for the past year or so (since about August 2018), I have been slowly and painstakingly working on my creative writing, including ventures in poetry, short stories, and a novel. I hope to be able to share some of these soon, in completed (and published!?) form.
For now, please follow my thoughts/writing adventures via my blog or check out the list of my publications.

You don’t start out writing good stuff. You start out writing crap and thinking it’s good stuff, and then gradually you get better at it. That’s why I say one of the most valuable traits is persistence. Octavia E. Butler
