Here we are! It is January 2017, and we are ready for the first CLASSIC BOOK-A-MONTH selection: Little Women by Louisa May Alcott!

About the Book:
Little Women is one of the best-loved books of all time.

i read this just before Christmas but have to say I did so with gritted teeth. I know its a classic but the level of preachiness was overwhelming…..

I read a wonderful, giant edition of this exactly a year ago, with side notes by the editor that took up almost as much space as Alcott’s writing. It was great! I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did.

Ooh, I like this! I’ve had this book on my shelf for a while now but still haven’t read it. There are certain classics I know I should read but just don’t for some reason. I think I might have to read it this month!
